DJ Bacon has been involved in the community arts sector for over 15 years. He holds a Certificate 3 in Community Services, is a current blue card holder and has been teaching DJing and its culture to young people since 2001.
Over the years he has worked extensively with organisations such as Arts Queensland, Brisbane City Council, PCYC and hundreds of related arts organisations and community cerntres.
Programs have included DJ workshops with remote indigenous groups in Far North Queensland, DJing and youth work in inner city Melbourne housing estates with migrants and recent refugees, extensive work in Brisbane with homeless youth, and continued work with disabled and learning impaired participants with St Lawrence’s Community Services.

Cairns(QLD) as part of Youth Week 2002 & 2003, organised by Graft ‘N Arts in Cairns, this trip included remote Far North Qld at the Wangetti Education Centre with indigenous groups.
